Privacy Policy

1. Data we collect

Account: your email address, used to send sign-in links.

Profile (optional): name, country, photo, WhatsApp number and contact email. These are shown publicly on your listings so buyers can reach you.

Listings: texts, prices, location, photos, videos, boundary files and private documents you upload.

Technical: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, a language cookie, and standard server logs (such as IP address and browser) kept by our hosting provider for security.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

2. Why we use it

To provide the service (accounts, listings, contact between users), to keep the platform secure and prevent fraud, to review documents for the Verified Title service, and to comply with legal obligations. Legal bases: performance of a contract, legitimate interest and legal obligation.

3. Who processes it for us

Cloudflare (hosting, database, file storage and email delivery); DeepL (automatic translation of listing texts — only the listing text is sent); Stripe (payments, only once paid plans start). These providers may process data outside your country under appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal data.

4. What is public

Your listings and the profile details you fill in (name, country, photo, WhatsApp, contact email) are public. Your sign-in email and private documents are not.

5. How long we keep it

While your account is active. When you ask us to delete your account, we remove your profile, listings and documents within 30 days, except data we must keep by law or for the defence of legal claims.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your data, or object to its use, by writing to info@chaco.land. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).
